Code Tenderloin Redesign

Code Tenderloin
Background: Code Tenderloin works with individuals left out of San Francisco’s economic gains to prepare, stabilize, and teach them job readiness and life skills for entering the workforce giving members of our community radical opportunities. Their goal is to increase employment rates for men and women of color, formerly incarcerated or homeless individuals, and to provide them with support needed to get them employed – and ultimately into a meaningful career. Founded by longtime Tenderloin resident Del Seymour in 2015, Code Tenderloin works specifically with populations that have had challenges or barriers to accessing good paying jobs.
My Role: I helped launch Code Tenderloin alongside Del Seymour in 2015. I helped to create the Job Readiness Curriculum, recruit and interview the founding class, I built work streams for volunteers and participants, designed assets as needed, including branding, logos, and website.

Crossing Market Indiegogo Campaign
I co-lead the campaign and helped our team to raise over 85K from both within and outside the campaign.
I also helped to organize and host three charity events during this three month funds drive.
